This role will have the opportunity for upward mobility in 1-2 years and is a part of a great team!Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing leadership and support to junior members of the accounting team.Responsibilities:Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and company policies and proceduresPrepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory reportsOversee the preparation of budget and forecast projectionsLead and participate in monthly close processes, including account reconciliation and analysisManage the audit process, including preparing and coordinating audit requests from external auditorsMentor and train junior members of the accounting teamIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldA minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with at least 2 years of experience as a senior accountant or equivalentStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience with an ERP system, such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAPExcellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership and communication skillsWe offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
