This individual contributor role will provide subject matter expertise to impacted information security stakeholders, including asset owners and risk partners as well as develop key performance indicators to monitor adherence to impacted policies.

  • Directs, participates in and reviews Information and Cyber Security policy content, and recommends adherence validation strategies and methodologies
  • Champions information security risk awareness and influences leaders in strategies to mitigate risks
  • Pro-actively informs and influences stakeholders on new or on material changes to policies
  • Coordinates with other information security risk committees and provides updates on status of key issues, risks and initiatives to senior management
  • Acts as an information security policy subject matter expert with Audit Services and other line of defense stakeholders.
  • Conduct self-assurance activities and report self-identified issues in a timely manner
  • Develops and/or delivers knowledge base in accordance with the Information and Cyber Security standards
  • May direct or mentor less experienced staff
  • Provides advanced information security consultation to assigned line of business for impacted information security policy compliance, risk management and remediationRequired Qualifications
    • 7+ years of technology experience
    • 5+ years of risk management and mitigation experience
    • 7+ years of information technology experienceDesired Qualifications
      • Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
      • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior managementOther Desired Qualifications
        • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
        • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
        • Quantitative or qualitative data analysis experience
        • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint
        • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external--stakeholders
        • Strong ability to communicate complex technical, information protection issues and value/impact in simple terms to very senior business and--technology leaders.
        • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
        • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
        • A high level of comfort working with ambiguity or uncertainty and converting information into quantifiable conceptsJob Expectations
