Job Class: Enterprise Director Working Title: Enterprise Director of Employee Experience Who May Apply: Open to all qualified job seekers Date Posted: 03/12/2021 Closing Date: 04/01/2021 Hiring Agency/Seniority Unit: Mn Management & Budget / Managerial Work Shift/Work Hours: Day Shift Travel Required: No Salary Range: $44.86 - $64.35/hourly; $93,667 - $134,362/annually Classified Status: Classified Bargaining Unit/Union: 220 - Manager/Unrep The Enterprise Director of Employee Experience provides enterprise strategic direction, leadership and coordination to the State of Minnesota Executive Branch on the State's employee experience strategies and programs. This position advises the Commissioner of Minnesota Management and Budget and leads the Executive Branch on the full range of strategies and programs that effect the state agency employee experience, including diversity recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, employee engagement, inclusion and equity, employee resource groups, career development and other employee retention strategies. This position leads staff teams at Minnesota Management and Budget and partners closely with state agency human resources leaders to implement strategies throughout the enterprise. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Five (5) years or more of public sector or large size company work experience in Human Resource Management, or related HR functions, which must include a minimum of three (3) years at a supervisory or managerial level experience. Work experience must include technical knowledge and application of the following comprehensive functional areas:

  • State and federal laws affecting HR
  • Human Resources Management theory and progressive trends, especially for employee recruitment and retention strategies
  • Experience implementing inclusion and equity strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and written work product
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel. Preferred Qualifications
    • Ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships
    • Experience making presentations to groups of various sizes
    • Experience working in an advisory or consultative role
